Adjust the closing speed of the door
If the delivery includes self-closing hinges and you want the door to close faster, you can adjust it. Test the door before adjustment.
Note: If you have a right-handed door, adjust the spring
counter-clockwise.

Insert the 5 mm hex key into the top of the
hinge.

Tighten the spring clockwise with a 5 mm hex key
to the point where you feel resistance.
The key bounds back when it encounters resistance.

Hold the hex key against the resistance and insert
the lock pin into the hole on the left-hand side of the hinge close to the door
frame.
Note: To insert the lock pin, align the hole in the inner cylinder of the hinge with the hole in the outer surface.

Remove the hex key.
Note: Do not remove the lock pin. It holds the spring in place so it does not unwind and break.

Reinsert the 5 mm hex key into the top of the
hinge.

Hold the hex key in place and remove the lock
pin.

Turn the hex key a ¼ turn and insert the lock pin
into the hole on the left-hand side of the hinge close to the door frame.
Note: To insert the lock pin, align the hole in the inner cylinder of the hinge with the hole in the outer surface.

Remove the hex key.
Note: Do not remove the lock pin. It holds the spring in place so it does not unwind and break.

Install the M5x6 screw.
Note: Do not remove the lock pin before the screw is fully in place.

Remove the lock pin.

Adjust the lower hinge to the same setting as the
upper hinge.
Note: Make sure that you adjust both hinges to the same setting.

Test the door and repeat if needed.
Note: You can tighten the springs a maximum of 6 x ¼ turns from the point of resistance.Note: The closing of the door must take at least 1.5 seconds from a 70° angle.
